Airport Information
The largest international airport
in Morocco is the Mohamed V International Airport,
located in Casablanca. Many destinations worldwide
can be reached from Mohamed V, including a selection
of cities from each of the five well-travelled
continents (Europe, Asia, Africa & the Americas).
There are other airports in
Morocco, as well. Other airports are located in
cities such as Rabat, Marrakech, Fez, Tangier,
Ouarzazate, Agadir, and Oujda; these airports also
offer connections to many European destinations.
Many of the Moroccan airports are
conveniently located within their respective cities:
Casablanca: 28 Km (17.5 miles)
from downtown
Fez: 15 Km (8 miles) from
downtown
Marrakech: 6 Km (4 miles) from
downtown
Ouarzazate: 2 Km (1.25 miles)
from downtown
Tangier: 10 Km (7miles) from
downtown
Taxis, vans, or buses are
available for easy transport between the airport and
the downtown area. Be aware, however, that taxis
waiting for passengers outside the airports and
other transportation entities are very likely to
overcharge you, so it is in your interest to bargain
for the best rate. You might even consider getting a
taxi a few blocks away from the airport.
Trains can be taken from the
Casablanca airport to anywhere in Morocco. Visit the
official train website to find a departure time best
