The history of Morocco is not limited to the actual
Moroccan border. Its political frontier, on the
contrary, and the history of the whole North African
and the Sahel Sub-Saharan with the inhabitants of
this region, are geographically and historically
very animated. And on one hand, Morocco has
had to change its political frontiers more than 100
times during his history.

In Moroccan history dating until today, Morocco has
had four capitals - Fez, Marrakech, Meknes and Rabat
- where power was concentrated in. But the Moroccan
dynasties, who arrived until Saragossa in Spain,
Tripoli in Libya and Ghana, the history of Morocco
also includes the history of all its neighbouring
countries: Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania, Mali
and Senegal.
